Sulphuric acid plants

Experience has shown that sulphuric acid plants can benefit greatly from a well-designed and reliable WESP - see the case study below for more information.

Hazardous waste incineration

Envibat has delivered several WESPs for use in air pollution control systems in plants for chemical waste incineration. Follow the links below for more details about two examples.

Fire laboratory

A fire laboratory performs many fire experiments in a large scale. Examples included fires in machines, shop interiors and appartments. All phases of a fire are simulated - from ignition to a fully developed fire, followed by extinguishing. The fires initially develop a large amount of soot, then emit gas at high temperatures (500-700°C). The testing is carried out every day, with highly variable gas flows. High flexibility, extremely low emissions and high availability are key advantages.

Paper & pulp industry

Lime kilns and recovery boilers in the paper&pulp industry are other examples of processes where Envibat's WESPs have proven to be an ideal solution.
